Who We Are
Meet Karen (she/her), P.Eng, PMP, MBA
After an engineering career during which I managed projects as diverse as mine site remediation, infrastructure development and environmental engineering, I found myself feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and dealing with health issues in my 9-5 job. I was not honouring my talents, I was ignoring my body’s signals, and I was a people-pleasing perfectionist. In other words, I was burned out and my energy was at an all-time low.
In my quest for joy and vitality, I realized that lack of self-love and burnout was at the root of my energy crisis. I saw this same issue in so many people around me, so I decided to pivot in my career to help people with their energy issues. I studied coaching through the International Coaching Federation-recognized “Dharma Coaching Institute,” I became a certified soul purpose coach, I have trained in mindful self-compassion, and I’m currently on a self-love journey.
I am now equipped to support YOU on your journey to self-love and vitality. The method I’ve developed will help you make small daily shifts to bring back your energy and empower you to live life how it’s meant to be lived – with joy, passion, and purpose!

We are passionate about helping people reach their highest potential by being their most authentic selves. Nothing saps energy faster than perfectionism. We love the quirks that make you unique and special, and we want to know more about them! Excavating your talents and finding the energy to make them a part of your life is key to reducing burnout and increasing joy.
Some of Karen’s quirks are what make her an excellent coach and fun at parties! She is a “highly sensitive person” with lots of emotional intelligence and empathy, and she has studied mindful self-compassion to heal herself and others. She is a watercolour and alcohol ink artist, and she sings, plays guitar, and writes songs. She even has two albums of original songs! Click Here to Listen
Karen loves to hike mountains, grow veggies, travel the world, ride her motorcycle, and cook delicious meals. She is also skilled at baking sourdough bread and is known to gift freshly-baked loaves to all her friends and family.

By improving our motivation, we can achieve our goals more effectively, stay resilient in the face of challenges, and create a greater sense of purpose in our lives.
